  Description Sermorelin acetate, also known as INN/Geref/Gerel, is a peptide analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) used as a diagnostic agent to evaluate growth hormone (GH) secretion and diagnose growth hormone deficiency. It is a 29 amino acid polypeptide representing fragments 1-29 from endogenous human GHRH and is considered to be the shortest fully functional fragment of GHRH.

  Uses Sermorelin acetate is used as a diagnostic agent to assess growth hormone (GH) secretion. It is also used as doping agent in sports due to its correlation with increased growth of muscular and skeletal tissue.
